Emma Bernardi, 103, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at St. Camillus Heath & Rehabilitation Center. Emma was born in Canastota, NY. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and aunt. Mrs. Bernardi had many hobbies that she enjoyed including knitting, baking cheesecake, and reading. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie in 1985; and sister, Edith Pollastro of Syracuse.

Emma is survived by one son, Thomas (Yolanda) Bernardi of Camillus; grandchildren, Dolores (Richard) Berish of Ohio, Archie (Kathleen) Bernardi of Camillus, Patricia (Glenn) Hallauer of Rochester, and Thomas P. (Cynthia) Bernardi of Michigan; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday prior to the funeral mass from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the church, 5600 W. Genesee Street, Camillus.

Contributions may be made to St. Camillus Health & Rehabilitation Center, 813 Fay Rd, Syracuse, NY 13219. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus Unit B for their excellent care for Emma.
