Judith A. Ainsworth, 73 of Decatur died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Adams Memorial Hospital. Judy was born on January 5, 1940 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Robert E. and Bertha I. (Gibson) Lane. Judy married Gayle E. Ainsworth on September 5, 1959.

Judy was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women where she served as secretary, Women's Circle Group and Tri Kappa Sorority. She retired from Central Soya as a Customer Service Supervisor.

Survivors include her husband Gayle E. Ainsworth of Decatur; two sons Scott B. (Missy) Ainsworth and Michael E. (Patty) Ainsworth both of Decatur; a daughter Elizabeth A. Ainsworth of Decatur; a brother Robert L. Lane of Ft Wayne, IN; a sister Janet (Mark) Mitzner of Peoria, IL and 6 grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Grant, Sam, Emma and Joe Ainsworth and her beloved dog Molly.

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Calling also from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Pastor Michael Heinbaugh will be officiating and burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
