25 Jan 1972: Frank W. Gerberich, 511 Chapel St., died this morning at his home. He was 75. Born in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late William T. and Jessie Perky Gerberich. Gerberich, a retired Bethlehem Steel Corp. employee, worshipped in the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lebanon, of which he also served as secretary; Liberty Fire Co., BPO Elks 631, Lebanon. He was past president of the Central Democratic Club and the United Clubs of Lebanon County and a member of the Order of Red Men, Annville. Surviving are a son Charles F. Sr. of Lebanon; two daughters: Erma, wife of Robert Kapp, Myerstown RD, and Almeda, wife of Frederick Carpenter of Lebanon. Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. His wife was the late Stella Struphaur Gerberich. [Lebanon Daily News]
