Born in New Britain, on Oct. 12, 1937, daughter of the late Ernest Philip and Mae Frances Bloomquist. She lived in East Hartford for over 40 years. She was employed as a dedicated and loving nurse until her kidney disease which disabled her.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 47 years; she was the beloved mother of two daughters, Shelley Williams of Cove, AR, and Cathy Fishmen of Rhode Island; two sons, William E. Belch, Jr. of Colchester, and John Belch of Manchester. She was the beloved grandmother to Benny, Jason, CJ, Patty, Nicole, Brandon, Autumn, Kimberly, Amanda, and Daniel; and was the beloved great grandmother to Casey, Collin, Devin Destiny and Anthony.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 30, 8:15 a.m. from the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, East Hartford.
Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours will be TODAY, Jan. 29, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Belch also leaves behind her dearest closest friend, Annie Holmes of New Britain. Published in The Hartford Courant on January 29, 2002
