Martha Bruce Morris Boggess, 90, of 108 Gatewood Avenue Lawrenceburg, widow of John Will Boggess died Friday August 19 1994 at her home. A native of Anderson Co she was daughter of the late Joseph Burris and Myrtie Sweeney Morris.
She was a retired teacher at Kavanaugh and Anderson Co High Schools after forty-six years of service. She was a sponsor of the Anderson Co High School Beta Club, member of First Christian Church, former Sunday School teacher, a graduate of Kavanaugh High School and Transylvania University and was a member of the Anderson Co Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include Martha Jean Hahn Louisville, Ada Bruce Gash, Mary Alice Gash and Joy Gash all of Salvisa, John D Gash, England, Jim Gash, Harrodsburg, William Bruce Sweeney, Florida and Jack Morris, Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev Bernard Perry Rev Doug Hahn and Rev Clarles Brumley officiating.
Burial in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
