Chester Edward "Chet" Ahlin
1931 - 2013
Chet was born in Butte, Montana, on November 6, 1931, to Art and Ada Ahlin. He loved spending time with his family. Chet was very active in his community. He was a proud member of the Masons for 50 years. He was the mayor of Drummond for several years, and the Fire Chief for many years. He will be forever missed. Chester "Chet" E. Ahlin passed away peacefully in Missoula, Montana, Thursday evening, February 7, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was 81.
Chet is survived by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis; and his five children, Michael of Helena, Debby Miloff (Dwight) of Billings, Myrla Seifert (Steve Morris) of Moore, Tom Ahlin (Candace) of Indonesia and Judy Goodrich (Blain Wentz) of Cody, WY. His grandchildren are: Shannon Parker, LaDawna Ahlin-Rhodes, Tyler Seifert, Brook and Kenzy Goodrich, Chris, Josh and Casey Ahlin; he also leaves behind two great-grandchildren. Chet was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bud.
