He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Kimberly (Kelton) Mitchner; brother-in-law Tony Wilson and nephew Chuck Painter, while survivors included two married sisters; a married brother; married son; two daughters and a son-in-law; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Celebration of Life Service was held at West Harpeth Funeral Home, and burial was in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens next to his mother.
