Sue Spillers was born in the Salty Community. She was the daughter of Oscar Lee and Ivye (Harris) Caffey and was a graduate of Rockdale High School. She and Henry Spillers were married on August 2, 1942 in Houston, Texas. She and Henry moved to South West City, Missouri in 1952 and lived there until she moved to Rockdale in 1999. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in his ministry. After moving to Rockdale she became a member of Rockdale Full Gospel Church. Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; Henry Spillers on October 8, 1992. Brothers; Oscar L. Caffey, Curtis Caffey and Wayne Roberts. Brother-In-Laws; Charlie Skeeters and Rev. Henry Spillers. Services for Sue Spillers were held Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Douglas Springer and Charles Denman officiating.
