Berta Maria Arvesu of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2013, after a brief illness.
Since her arrival to the Palm Beaches during the 1960's, Berta has been an active, well-loved and respected member of St. Juliana Catholic Church
She is survived by her son, Tony Arvesu (wife, Silvia) of Gainesville, Fl; her son-in-law, Arturo Alba of West Palm Beach; her grandchildren, Luissa Mac Donald (husband, Herbert) of Houston, TX, Arturo Alba (wife, Debra) of Wellington, FL, Marisa Farabaugh (husband, Matthew) of Winston Salem, NC, Kristina Zurita (husband, Andres) of Orlando, FL, and Daniel Arvesu of Houston, TX; and three great grandchildren, Angelina and Arturo Alba and Nathan Farabaugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Arvesu in November of 2007 and her daughter, Maria Isabel Alba in March of 1980.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 8, 2013 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, with a Wake Service to be held at 6:30 PM.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, at St. Juliana Catholic Church, West Palm Beach, with interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach.
