Kepari Leniata was born on January 4th, 1993 in Mendi, Southern Highlands, on the island of Papua New Guinea. She was a mother of two children and a wife. She died on February 6th, 2013 at just 20 years old in Mount Hagen, Western Higlands, Papua New Guinea. The prime minister of Papua New Guinea, P.M. Peter O'Neill and his government are still investigating this case of murder. The governments of Australia and USA have condemned this act of violence.
