Robert Douglas Richardson, 62, of Lenexa, passed away February 4, 2013 from complications of several medical problems. His wishes were that he be cremated with no services. Doug will be buried at Park Lawn Cemetery alonside his family. Doug was born December 5, 1950 in Kansas City, MO, to Alson and Fleeta Richardson. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1968 where he was a member of the Debate Team and a trophy player in the 3 and 2 Baseball league. Graduating high school he joined the U.S. Air Force. His fulfilling career was the management of several large hotels in various cities in the U.S. Doug later retired from the City of Overland Park, KS. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lawrence Richardson. Survivors include only four cousins.
