HAROLD BACKLUND
Harold Backlund died Friday at 11:15 o'clock at the W. C. A. hospital following an operation, aged 9 years, 10 months and 2 days. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Backlund, 127 James street, Falconer, and a brother, Ralph Backlund, also of Falconer. This is the second son Mr. and Mrs. Backlund have lost following an operation. The funeral will be held Monday at 3 p.m. from the home.

FUNERAL OF HAROLD BACKLUND
The funeral of Harold Backlund was held Monday afternoon from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Backlund, Falconer. Rev. Oneida McMillan, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist church, officiated. The active and honorary pallbearers, all playmates of the child, were Leslie Dennison, Charles Everett, William Dyer, Fred Stephenson, Orvil Hayward, and Clarence Dowd; honrary, Howerton, Owen, and Ragland Neathery, Keith Emmanuelson, Everett Dyer, Willard Adams, and Clarence. The Interment was in Pine Hill cemetery, Falconer. Present from away were Mrs. Charles Hayward and Perry Stephenson of Buffalo.
