Harold Jones Robison was born on June 8th, 1925 in the Olympia Mill section of Columbia, South Carolina, being the son of Johnnie Jones and Aletha Inez Dennis Robison of Turbeville, South Carolina.

Mr. Robison was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard during the Second World War, and of the United States Navy in the Korean War, during which he served aboard the minesweeper USS Mainstay.

He was the founder and owner of Robison Upholstery of Columbia, South Carolina, he enjoyed his membership in the Earlewood Lodge #371 (Freemasons), of which he was as a Past Master, and the Jamil Shrine Temple of the Shriners.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Maria Alfieri Robison, children, Denise R. Hair of Chapin, Harold J. "Rob" Robison Jr. and Kenneth H. Robison Sr. all of Columbia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Robert A. Robison and Wilma R. McGill.
