ELMONS, ROSSIE HELENE "PHENE" TOBLER - was born March 8, 1931, and passed away January 31, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Phene was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Albert Lemons; father and mother, George Arnold and Toye Elizabeth Green Tobler; brothers, Thomas Weldon and Donald Marvin Tobler. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Tanya and Ralph Scates, Janel and Brad Baker; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Jennifer Lemons; grandchildren, Misty Mincey, Kari Young, Emily Scates, Logan Scates, Kade Scates, William Baker, Christopher Lemons and Andrew Lemons; great grandchildren, Thomas Young, Gracie Mincey and Landon Scates; sister and her husband, Brence and Bill Johnson; very special aunt and best friend, Jenny Byrd; special sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Polson and Emma Lou Tobler; and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Fort Sanders Select Hospital for the kind, compassionate and loving care given to her and her family during this difficult time. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013, 4:00 p.m., Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. Interment will take place Monday, February 4, 2013, 11:00 a.m., Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 3, 2013, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. preceding the service.
