Mrs. Helen Rose Strickland of Pulaski passed away Saturday morning, February 2, 2013, at Meadowbrook Nursing Facility Pulaski.
She was born on July 31, 1926 in Pulaski, Tennessee. She was a member of the East Hill Church of Christ, a former employee of Morris Harwell & Son, and was 86 years old.
Visitation will be 3 o'clock until 7 o'clock Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1 o'clock Monday, 02/04/2013, in the chapel of Bennett May Giles County with Bro. Paul Sain and Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Annie Lou Goetz Rose . Her husband Roy E. Strickland. Her sister Lacy Russell along with her brothers David, R.C., and Robert Rose.
She is survived by her son Dennis Strickland of Giles County. Daughters Janice Strickland Motter (Charles) of Giles County. Jeanette Strickland Skeets (Terry) of Giles County. Marsha Strickland Callahan (Carl Edward, Jr.) of Pulaski.
Her brother Raymond Rose Jr. (Zady) of Pulaski.
Sisters Shelby Jean Rose Hall (Fred) of Franklin. Linda Rose Butler (Jimmy) of Giles County
Grandchildren, Lance Patterson, Richard Skeets, Tracy Smith, Carrie S. Johnson, Jessie S. Whitworth, Lesley LaCroix, Chance Motter, Carla Callahan, Erica Callahan, Amee Rose Durham, and Jaime Strickland.
12 great-grandchildren also survive.
