CHAPPELL, KARLA GOLDEN
A resident of Tickfaw, she died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at North Oaks Medical
Center, Hammond. She was 47 years old, born Thursday, Feb. 20, 1958, in
Oklahoma, and worked as a secretary. She is survived by her husband, Bob G.
Chappell, Tickfaw; two brothers, Byron Golden, Hammond, and Rodney Golden,
California; father, Norris Golden, Hammond; four stepsons, Kenneth
Chappell, Scott Chappell and Bobby Chappell Jr., all of Alabama, and Andre
Chappell, Florida; and stepdaughter, Jennifer Chappell, Florida. She was
preceded in death by her mother, Tina Golden. Friends will be received at
Little River Pentecostal Church, Tickfaw, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 6 p.m.
to 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious service at the church at
11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Adriene Spikes. Interment in the
