Sarah True Tilton was born on February 10, 1844 in Deerfield, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. She died on August 8, 1903 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

She is buried in the Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

She married Lyman Jackman on December 25, 1866 in Milford, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. (He was born on August 15, 1837 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire and died on June 23, 1913 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. He is buried in the Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.)

They had two children:
1. Charles Lyman Jackman (1871-1957) md. 1st. Minnie Maria Day; md. 2nd. Mary E. Rolfe
2. Freeman Tilton Jackman (1879-1954) md. Beulah Blanche Goodale

Sarah was married shortly after her family moved to Milford.

By 1870, they had moved to Concord, New Hampshire, where they remained.

Lyman worked as a life insurance agent and the family lived at 33 Merrimack Street.

Sarah died from diabetes.
