Bedel—Luther Bedel, a former resident
of Jackson county, died at the
Soldiers Home at Dayton, Ohio, Friday,
January 6, aged eighty-one
years. He is survived by three chil-
dren, Mrs. Charles Ross, of Vernon
township; Mrs. Cora McGuire, of Illinois,
and Victor C. Bedel, of Bloom-
ington, Illinois, The remains were
taken to Beech Grove, where funeral
services were held Tuesday afternoon
at 2 o'clock. Burial in the Bedel cemetery.
