HOLEMAN- Archie B. Holeman of 111 Holeman Ave. died August 21, 1953, at the age of 59 years. He was born October 1, 1893, in Lucas County, Iowa, and has been a resident of this community since 1900. Mr. Holeman was a member of the First Christian Church of Eugene, a Veteran of World War 1, president of the State Locker Assn. in the year of 1952. He was first man president of the River Road P.T.A., and was a partner with his brother, Rowland, in the Holeman Brothers' Lockers, a member of the McKenzie River Lodge No. 195, A.F. & A.M., and a director and active member of the Very Little Theater. He is survived by his wife, Irene; 3 brothers; Holmes of Yakima, Washington; Rowland and Hedley both of Eugene; one sister, Leota Hampton of Forest Grove. Funeral services will be conducted in Simon-Lousbury Mortuary, Tuesday, August 25, 1953, at 10:30 a.m.. Dr Carrol C. Roberts will officate with interment in Rest-Haven Memorial Park. Graveside services will be rendered by the McKenzie River Lodge No. 195, A.F & A.M.
