THOMAS ONTIVEROS

ARTESIA--Services for Thomas Ontiveros, 37, of Artesia, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace Church with Father Vincent Petersen officiating. Burial will follow at San Marcos Cemetery. Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Mr. Ontiveros died Dec. 25, 1998, in Carlsbad.

He was born on April 24, 1961, in Artesia to Norberta Ontiveros. He was a longtime resident of Artesia and worked as a painter.

Survivors include his mother, Norberta Alaquinez and stepfather Acucion Alaquinez, both of Levelland, Texas; daughter, Belinda Ontiveros of Artesia; stepbrothers, Larry, Acucion and Paul Alaquinez, all of Levelland; and stepsister, Linda Alaquinez of Levelland.

Pallbearers will be Acucion Alaquinez Jr., Larry Alaquinez, Eric Salazar, Chilo Orquiz, Jason Salazar and Alex Valenzuela.
