Zane Leroy Culbertson, eldest of seven children, was born in Henderson, Nevada to Jerry Eugene Berger and Claire "Rosanne" Graves and was adopted by Kenneth Ray Culbertson.

Zane passed unexpectedly Wednesday, August 26th, in a tragic logging accident. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.

He grew up in Sweet Home, and then lived in Salem for most of his life. Zane lived in Bend over the past two years. Zane was an auto technician employed by B&S Logging in Prineville where he acquired a passion again for logging, having been a log truck driver other times during his life.

Zane had a passion and zeal for life, especially for cars and hot rods. Those closest to him would say Zane worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as hiking, hunting, and snow and water skiing. He also enjoyed country dancing and barbeques with family and friends.

Zane was proceeded in death by "man's best friend" and loyal companion of 10 years, Bandit.

Zane loved the Lord, his family and his friends.
