Sharon J. Barngrover, 75, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Major Hospital.
She was born Aug. 9, 1937, to William Aulby and Justine (Sweet) Aulby in Shelbyville. She married Earl Barngrover on Dec. 31, 1953, and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2012.
Survivors include five sons, Michael (wife, Charlotte) Barngrover, Robbie (wife, Debbie) Barngrover, Gary Barngrover, Ronnie Barngrover, all of Shelbyville, and Daryel (wife, Kim) Barngrover of Brown County, 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn (husband, Sonny) Leffler and Judy Pruitt, both of Shelbyville and brother, Billie Aulby of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Michael Barngrover and sister, Marilyn Aulby.
Mrs. Barngrover had been employed at Cinch Manufacturing and retired after 27 years. She was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Indianapolis Colts. Mrs. Barngrover enjoyed working puzzles, camping and fishing.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Caplinger officiating.
Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
