Obituary:

CALDWELL - William Crnkovic Sr., 74, of Caldwell died at his residence Monday.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cooks Point Brethren Church. The Revs. Henry E. Beseda of Snook Brethren Church and Norman Haisler of Cooks Point Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in New Tabor Cemetery in Burleson County. Arrangements are by Phillips-Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Crnkovic, born in Zwolle, La., had lived in Burleson County since 1947. He graduated from Ebarb High School in Zwolle, La., and from Louisiana State University. Crnkovic was a retired dealer for Beltone Hearing Aids, a veteran of the Coast Guard in World War II, and a member of the Roman Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred D. Crnkovic of Caldwell; three sons, William Crnkovic Jr., John Bartol Crnkovic, Joe Dan Crnkovic, all of Caldwell; five brothers, Angel Crnkovic of Oak Grove, La., Tony Crnkovic of Birmingham, Ala., Joe Crnkovic, Alfred Crnkovic, both of Zwolle, Charlie Crnkovic of Leesville, La.; a sister, Tonka Ozbolt of Birmingham; and two grandchildren.
