Timothy I. Falconer, 58, went home to be with the Lord August 23, 2008.
He was a lifetime resident of this community. He was employed at McKinley Commercial and a member of Garden of Prayer COGIC. Tim was a quiet man who loved cooking, gardening and reading. He truly enjoyed the time spent fishing with his son and grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Falconer; son, Timothy (Iva) Falconer ll; grandson, T. Domonique Falconer; parents, Edgar and Margie Falconer Sr.; brothers, Edgar Jr. (Deborah), Billy (Stephanie) and Kelvin Falconer, all of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Dorothy (Sollie) Davis of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Beatrice (Ernest) Pearson, Powell, Ohio, Valarie (James) Smyre, Salsbury, N.C. and Elaine Eaton of Detroit, Mich.; mother-in-law, Christine Hargrove; ex-wife, Cheryl Falconer; friend, Stacy Williams, all of Akron; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Garden of Prayer COGIC, 1920 Springfield Ave., Copley, Ohio, Rev. Billy Falconer officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12 noon until time of service. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
