A. Gordon Bennett, of Fair Oaks, CA, age 88, passed away peacefully on 1/21/13. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and son Gordon. He is survived by daughters Suzanne Mongan (Sean), Laura Greene (Julio), Gail Novak (Michael), Jean Kaatz (Ed) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a native of New York City and had an early career with the NYPD. He was an Officer in the USAF for 25 years. He will be remembered for his keen wit and devotion to his family. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel 7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento, CA. 95841. Donations in his honor may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
