Mrs. Sadie Buchanan, 93, Wayne City, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (Jan 26, 1977) at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, with Rev. Bob Flatt and the Rev. H. H. Mayberry officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Buchanan was born Feb 21, 1883 in Illinois, the daughter of Tarpley V. and Mary Ann WILLIAMSON Taylor. She was a member of Wayne City Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Russell Buchanan of Wayne City; two daughters, Ethel Unley of Niles, Mich., and Ruby Haller of Wayne City; one sister, Myrtle Martin of Clinton; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her body was taken to Richardson's Funeral Home in Wayne City, where arrangements were incomplete at press hour. A daughter was snowbound and unable to get to Wayne City. Mrs. Buchanan was born in Wayne County February 21, 1883, the daughter of William and Mary WILLIAMSON Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband. Surviving are one son, Russell, of Wayne City; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Unley, of Niles, Mich.; and Mrs. Ruby Haller. Of Wayne City; and one sister, Myrtle Martin, of Clinton.
