ESSIE VIOLA BOWMAN
Essie Viola Bowman. 94, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren since October, 1984, died at the home at 11:28 a.m.
Wednesday (Nov 29, 1989) following a brief illness.
Mrs. Bowman, a former Huntington resident, was a member of the Pleasant Plain United Methodist Church.
She was born March 2, 1895 in Huntington County to John and Alissa Van Arsdale Rinehart. Her marriage was June 8, 1911 to Joseph A. Bowman. He died Oct 20, 1957.
she is survived by a son, Burnon Bowman, Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Memorial Home Chapel. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Nigel Everett officiating.
Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
Butler Funeral Home, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Harold Yates, Gene Haberman, Gene Haberman, Jr., Stenn Bowman, Greg Poe, and Robert Eisenhouer.
Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
Butler Funeral Home, Warren, was in charge of arrangements.
