Eloise Salvo McMichael, 79, of Columbia, wife of the late Rev. Henry George McMichael, died Thursday, March 9, 2006.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Dentsville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late Ralph M. and Lovinia Friendly Salvo. A registered nurse, she received nurses training at Orangeburg Regional Hospital. She retired from Moncrief Army Hospital after 28 years of civil service.
Mrs. McMichael was a member of Dentsville Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU, the choir and taught Sunday School. She was predeceased by a son, the Rev. Ralph McMichael; and a sister, Ruby Baltzegar.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. Henry McMichael Jr., of Sandersville, Ga.; daughter, Marlene M. Brazzell, of Eastover; sisters, Pauline Johnson, Ehtel Livingston and Janie Dangerfield, all of Orangeburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
