Rachel (Polly) Gladden, age 95, died at Cherokee County Health & Rehab. Burial in Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery; 323 Antioch Road; Collinsville, AL. She spent many years in Etowah County (Black Creek Community), and the last twenty years in Centre, Ala. She was a member of Antioch Church of Christ for over seventy years. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-five years, Dock Gladden; Parents, Kitty and Henry Brumbelow; sisters, Gertrude Lolies, Velma Owens, Ruth Gladden, and Alice Bobo Romine, and special granddaughter Diali Pruitt. Survivors include a son and daughter, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, one sister, and several very special nieces and nephews.
