Tila was the daughter of the late Cecil & Vanessa Milton Martin. She attended Manual High School. She married James W. Jenkins. Tila was a self-employed hairdresser for 47 years, retiring in 2000.

Survived by James W. Jenkins, children: James R. (Debra) Jenkins, Jace V Jenkins, Joni M. (Andrew Edwards) Guess, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings: Donna Reed, Joe Martin (Norma), and Suzie Robinson. A son, Jeffrey preceded her in death.

Tila was an excellent wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was a warm and caring person, and could make everyone smile. She will be forever loved and missed.
