Marion Paul Rogers, Sr., 37, of 6318 Drew Hunter Rd., Harrison, died Saturday morning in a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers had been employed with Flexible Foam Corporation and had previously worked with Dan Brewer Construction Company.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Edna Pedigo Rogers; two daughters, Miss Martina Rogers, Miss Dilene Rogers; two sons, Marion Paul Rogers, Jr., Martin Rogers; mother, Mrs. Nola Dill Rogers, all of Harrison; two brothers, Steven Rogers, Harrison, Dennis Rogers, Chattanooga; a sister, Miss Charlene Rogers, Harrison; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Rogers, Harrison; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Lakewood Baptist Church with Dr. Douglas Cravens and Dr. Bruce Lackey officiating. Burial in McDonald Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dan Brewer, Richard Newell, Francis Rogers, Don Bush, Don Picklesimer and David Bragg. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Berean Sunday School Class. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.
