Born March 17, 1926 in Kingsbury, IN to Paul & Zola (Noakes) McEnterfer, graduated from Union Mills High School in 1944, then served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. A graduate of Valparaiso Technical Institute, Tom retired from IBM Corporation after a long career as a computer specialist. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso.
On June 1, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westville he married Dolores L. "Dee" Schlobohm who survives along with their daughters: Rebecca L. Miller, Nancy (Michael) Rees, grandchildren: Julia (Paul) Charpentier, Stephen Miller, Alex (Celeste) Rees and Thomas (Katie Farrell) Rees; brother, Richard McEnterfer of LaPorte, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Gayle Bluhm, Harold Bluhm & Louis Bluhm; sisters: Edythe Morrison & Anita Carson and beloved son-in-law, Jack Miller.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:30 am at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 1 – 4 pm and Wednesday from 10 – 11 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donation be made to Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF.org) or a charity of the donor's choice.
