Hallie Marie Wright, 84, of Oak Ridge, died Monday, December 10, 2007, at the Methodist Medical Center.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007, at Eastside Cemetery in Martin.
She was born August 9, 1923 in Martin, the daughter of the Hosie Clarence Gardner and Velmer Francis Rowlette Gardner. Mrs. Wright retired in 1962 from Union Carbide Corporation, where she worked as a clerk in the Health Physics Department. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband of 60 years, Hillman Newton Wright; a son, David Hillman Wright of Hampton, Virginia; a daughter, Annette Marie Wright of Oak Ridge; and a brother, Bobby Harold Gardner and wife, Bobbie, of Martin.
