Zulema "Sue" (Martínez) Acquisto of Albuquerque NM, passed away on January 4, 2013 at age 91.
Zulema was born on August 8, 1921, in Chimayo, NM to Teodoro and Froilan Martínez, one of six children. Zulema reminisced often about attending Allison James (Santa Fé) and Menaul School (Albuquerque).
Zulema is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Acquisto of Albuquerque, son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Dee Acquisto of Phoenix and sister and brother-in-law, Lusinda and Luther Martínez of Albuquerque. Zulema is also survived by grandchildren, Robyn Vines Smith and her husband, Mark Smith of Albuquerque, Ryan Vines and his wife, Charity of Thorndike, Maine and Michael Acquisto and his wife, Virma of Phoenix, great-grandchildren, Brock Smith, Brenna, Hunter and Julia Vines and Michael, Talia and Jordan Acquisto.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Acquisto, her parents and her other siblings.
Services will be on Friday, January 11, 2013, at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd. NE at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
