Katherine Rosalyn Hardwick, 83, of Longview, passed away on August 19, 2012, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Ricky Ricks officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.

Katherine was born in Marshall, Texas, to the late Mary R. and L. McAdams. She was a 1945 graduate of Marshall High School and a 1946 graduate of Draughn Business School. She was a member of Greggton United Methodist Church. Katherine spent many days fishing and riding on Caddo Lake, and she spent many hours at the Bridge table with her friends.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Francis Johnson, of Marshall.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hardwick; son, Jim Hardwick and wife, Paula; grandson, Sam Hardwick; sister, Carolyn Jones, of Marshall; special niece, Sandra Pruitt, of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
