FLORENCE - Mrs. Rosa A. Linguish, 80, died Wednesday in a local hospital after a critical illness of only a few hours and declining health of the past several years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday from the Walters Funeral Home by the Rev. J. Ross Johnson. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Linguish was a life long citizen of Florence except for two years when she lived in Charleston and 11 years in West Palm Beach, Fla..

She was the former Miss Rosa Adams of Florence, daughter of the late Samuel J. and Caroline King Adams, pioneer citizens of Darlington County. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church.
