Rhonda Kay Allensworth, 52, died on January 5, 2013 from complications of COPD at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Rhonda was born in Des Moines, IA on December 19, 1960 to Jack Allensworth and Janet Williams. Rhonda attended Tech High School, and worked for Cleaning Connection until her retirement in 2005. She loved music, playing cards and trying her luck on the slot machines.
She will be missed by her parents, Jack and Pat Allensworth; brother, John Allensworth; sister, Denise; long-time companion, Deb Kelly and her dog "babies", Emma, Bang Bang and Casey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Williams; grandparents, Joyce and Buttons Allensworth and grandma, Ann Lutz.
