Mickey Moyers Adams age 71 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1941 in Limestone County to William Wiley Moyers and Audrey Evelyn Patterson Moyers.
Services are Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Casey Harbin officiating.
She is survived by her son, Russell Wayne Adams; sister, Judy White; grandson Dalton Adams; and other family and friends.

Mickey married Horace Wayne Adams on November 23, 1960 at Tanner Methodist Church in Tanner, Limestone County, Alabama where Mickey had been a life long member. Two sons, Rusty and Randy were born to this marriage which later ended in divorce. Wayne moved out of state and remarried.
Mickey went back to college and worked on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama until she retired.
