Lether Gary Gholsten, a native of Carroll County, died April 23 at Winona Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was 80.
A housewife, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Will Gary, and was the widow of Jessie Gholsten.
She is survived by three sons, Osker Gary of Winona, Dennis Gholsten of Winona, and John Gholsten of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; three sisters, Charlotte Johnson of Winona, Rosetta Brown of Vaiden, and Minnie Ward of Jackson; and two brothers, Clinton Gary of Vaiden and C. M. Gary of Chicago. She also leaves twelve grandchildren.
She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vaiden.
Services were held at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on April 30with the Reverend L. V. Powell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Roberts and Sons Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
