Trilby was a long-time and faithful member of Message of Love church. She retired from the Linford Mill with over 44 years of service. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, which were many.
She is survived by her sons Danny Lee Adkins and wife Kimberly of Gastonia, Elbert Burl Adkins and wife June of Belmont, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Ernest Neil Adkins, daughter, Linda Kay Hendren, son Larry Neil Adkins, five brothers, one sister, one grandson and one great granddaughter.
A Service Celebrating Trilby's life will be held at Message of Love Church,with Reverends Jeffrey Johnson and Frankie Sneed officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Gardens.
