The U.S.General Army Hospital at Cleveland, Ohio records show that he was admitted to Ward H, March 30, 1864. He was apparently returned to duty and mustered out with his company at Raleigh, North Carolina, June 12, 1865. He died at the Ohio Soldiers' and Sailors' Home(now the Ohio Veterans' Home)near Sandusky, Ohio.
