Elizabeth Falvo Albanese died just 2 weeks short of her 103rd Birthday. She was born in Italy and came to America in 1919. She was one of 5 girls in her family. She married Augostino Albanese around 1920. Augostino was a widow and had 2 very small children which she immediately raised as her own. The eldest, step son Tony died in 1945/WWII and was laid to rest in Belgium. Elizabeth and Augostino had 1 child together named Angelo. Angelo passed away 10/7/05. Her stepdaughter Josephine passed on 3/10/07. Elizabeth was my Great Aunt. We came to America from Italy when I was 3 and left the only Grandmother I knew behind, so "Zia Bettina" stepped in and became like a Grandmother to my brother and I. She was a wonderful woman who I loved and still love dearly. She made the best pasta sauce known to man...(sorry Mom.) She taught me how to swim when I was four years old and she was 67! No one had a laugh like hers. God Bless you Zia Bettina! Until we meet again.

**Her birth certificate says that her date of birth is October 10th but she was actually born October 9th. The town hall where her father went to register her birth was closed on the day she was born so they stamped her date of birth as the next day when the office was open.

**A special note of gratitude to Mr. David Eastburn for providing the exact burial location of my Great Aunt.
