Faye White, age 83, died Friday, December 28, 2012 Olney, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham of Southside Baptist Church of Olney officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Faye was born on September 23, 1929 in Claude, Texas to the late James Samuel and Laura Alberta (Black) Story. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Holbert and George Story; two sisters: Gladys Clark and Dela Mae Stephens.
Survivors include her three daughters: Denise Burns and husband David of Bangs, Texas, Kelly Payne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bonnie Barnhill and husband John of Karnes City, Texas; her two sons: Junior Ootton and wife Jeanett of Graham, Texas, and Trois Ootton of Oklahoma; four brothers: Donald Story of Newcastle, Texas, James Story and wife Earlene of Olney, Texas, Arnold Story of Olney, Texas, and Harold Story and wife Peggy Sue of Mansfield, Texas; and one sister, Joyce Story of Tyler, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
