Bonnie F. Adkins, 70, of Lafayette, died at 4:20 PM Monday, December 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Central.

She was born November 8, 1942, to the late Fred V. and Rosie L. Phillips Bratton.

She graduated from Southwestern High School and went on to marry Larry Hudson whom she later divorced. Her 2nd marriage to Cecil Adkins also ended in divorce.

Bonnie had worked retail her whole life and for the past 18 years she had worked at Walmart before retiring.

She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandson.

Surviving are a daughter Angela R. Sanders (husband Bruce) of Lafayette and her grandson Nathan A. Sanders.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909, with Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating.

A private family Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Clark Hill.
