Son of Aquilla John Miles and Myrtle "Mollie" Spence Miles.
Sibling of George Dee Miles and John Ann Miles.
Half-Sibling of Rilla Mae Miles Williams.
Ottis Miles contracted tuberculosis and was quarantined in a small out-building on the W.D. Williams farm near Bennington, OK. He was cared for by his half-sister's maternal grandmother, Annie Kern Losee, until his death at the young age of 25. He was never married and left no children.
