A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Pastor Ronald Knopp will be officiating. A viewing for family and friend will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday in the chapel. Burial will follow the service in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Arnold was born on April 17, 1926 in Dallastown. She was the daughter of the late John F. and Hilda (Silk) Stahl. Mrs. Arnold worked as a binder in the cigar factories in the Red Lion area.
Mrs. Arnold is also survived by a son, Franklin W. Arnold, Jr. of York; a daughter, Joan Marie Fitzkee of York; five grandchildren, Robert L. Fitzkee Jr., Lori (Fitzkee) Altland, Angie Fitzkee, Shane M.L. Arnold, and David R. Arnold; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roscoe Silk of Florida and Donald Silk of York; and five sisters, Ethel Murphy, Betty Knopp, Margaret Frey, Henrietta Watt, all of York, and Gladys Grove of Red Lion; She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Wilbur Silk, and two sisters, Katherine Fields and Elizabeth Heisey.
