Services for Christine Harvey Baggett, 77, of Cairo, GA, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Services will conclude at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Dr. Paul Jones will officiate. Mrs. Baggett passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Camellia Gardens of Life Care, Thomasville, GA.
Mrs. Baggett was born in Pelham, GA, on August 21, 1935, to the late Homer W. Harvey and Annie Sue Hurst Harvey. She was married to Albert Daniel Baggett. Mr. Baggett preceded her in death on January 30, 1995. She was a homemaker and a packer for W. B. Roddenbery Company. Mrs. Christine was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Wanda B. Stephens and son-in-law Winston Stephens of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Dana and Shane Rowan of Cairo, GA, Josh and Angela Morey of Cairo, GA, Christy Ward and Gerardo Jaque of Milledgeville, GA, Mary Ward of Key West, FL; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter, Makayla, Shelby and Hobie, of Cairo, GA, Sophia Jaque of Milledgeville, GA and Jackson of Key West, FL; sisters, Gloria Page of Cairo, GA, Shirley Winders (Robert) of Moultrie, GA; brothers, John W. Harvey of Tallahassee, FL, David Earl Harvey (Carolyn) of Cairo, GA, Junior Harvey (Kay) of Tallahassee, FL; son-in-law, Terry Morey of Cairo, GA.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Baggett "Kay" Morey.
