Funeral services for Emil E. Buchardt, 56, of Fremont were held Friday, November 6, 1987 at Salem Lutheran Church.
Rev. Dr. J.W. Berry officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery with Masonic graveside services conducted by Arlington Masonic Hiram Lodge No. 53 AF & AM, and Fremont Masonic Lodge No. 15 AF & AM.
He died from a cardiac arrest November 5, 1987, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.
Buchardt was a retired Geo. A. Hormel & Co. employee.
He was born December 2, 1930, in Washington County, and previously lived in Arlington.
Buchardt was a member of Masonic Hiram Lodge No. 52 AF & AM in Arlington, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 200 in Fremont and Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont.
He worked 35 years for Hormel.
On December 2, 1950, he married Lois E. Willmer. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Todd, of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Pamela) Anderson and Mrs. Michael (Denise) Corbin, both of Arlington; three grandchildren; a brother, Leo, of Kenyon, Minnesota, and a sister, Mrs. Allan (Nadine) Sorensen of Arlington.
