Eliza Victoria Cook was born January 16,
1856 at Bath, Maine. She died at her home
in Frankfort, Kansas on February 20, 1933,
at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 4 days.
In 1876 she was married to Frank A. Jillson
at Fall River, Massachusetts. They moved
to Woodson County, Kansas in 1881 and in
1883 to Frankfort, Kansas, where she has
lived until the time of her death.
To this union was born eleven children, two
of whom died in infancy, and two young
men, James Ralph in 1916 and Everett Leon
in 1918.
Surviving children are two daughters, and
five sons; Mrs. Etta Hersh, Frankfort,
Kansas, Mrs. Charles Talbott, Topeka,
Kansas, Fred A Jillson, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa,
Maurice Jillson, Topeka, Kansas, Chauncey
Jillson, Manhattan, Kansas, Byron Jillson,
Los Angeles, California and Dwight Jillson,
Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Other surviving relatives are a brother,
Charles M. Cook, Kalamazoo, Michigan;
18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchild-
ren.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist
Church at 2:00 p.m. on February 22, 1933.
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
