Ardell Brooks, 82, Elsmore, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Allen County Hospital.
He was born Dec. 25, 1917, in rural LaHarpe, the son of Perry Frank and Lela A. Haver Brooks. He was a lifelong resident of the Elsmore area.
He was a farmer, and also worked as a sales clerk with Bud Butts and Leon Thompson for many years.
He married Gladys Mae Ludlum in Oswego on Dec. 21, 1938, and she survives.
He also is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Kinman of Iola and Pauline Krokstrom of Elsmore.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Elsmore Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time Friday at Johnson-Kunkel Mortuary, Moran.
